How to Program Hyundai Kia 8A Smart Key with Lonsdor K518?

Go to Special Functions-> Key Settings-> XD smart keys-> Smart key conversion

Convert PS6000B or PA7800B smart key to your original key version

Then go to the immobilizer menu, select corresponding models and program 8A smart key.

Program 2007 Maserati Quattroporte Key with Lonsdor K518

How-to: programming a 2007 Maserati Quattroporte via obd using londsor k518ise/k518s/k518usa key programmer. Went smooth pulled all data needed total time was 10 min job. Autel couldn’t do it. Londsor did it in 10 mins.

Steps are as follows. back up immo data first then make dealer key. Program key then program remote.

Generate dealer key successfully

Program key

Detect vehicle info.

Input PIN to continue

Program 1st key

Then program 2nd new key

 

Last step is to program remote with Lonsdor K518

Done.

How to Fix Lonsdor K518ISE Brick BMW CAS3++ ISTAP

 Here comes the problem:

I am using Lonsdor K518ISE to add a new key to a 2008 BMW CAS3++ ISTAP. Had battery stabilizer on 13.7 entire time and good internet.
Original key and new key not starting car.
New key buttons are working.
Error on dash car in hoist service error.
I’ve attached photos of the process.

Steps taken:
CAS 3
Update cas successfully
Add key
Made dealer key followed prompts
Not proxy so added remote key.
Used card slot to generate.
Everything seemed successful but car won’t start but buttons do work.
I’ve tried to synch ELV and DME.
No change
I did restore on cas
No change
Battery reset
No change.
Cleared fault codes

Solution:

cas3++ istap downgrade via OBD is very risky, better do it always on the bench.

Whenever you make a copy or all key lost, of these CAS3 or CAS3+ modules, the ideal is to do it on the bench, read the original file, no error. doing it by obd2 can corrupt CAS file.

You can use vvdi prog+vvdi2 or cgdi bmw on bench. Autel IM608 is way easier, faster and more guaranteed. the londsor is hit or miss on BMW.

CAS and engine ECU lost ISN. You have to read ECU and CAS file to sync ISN.
You need good eprom and flash files to recover the cas then you need to to program key with Isn from DME
Then sync the cas with DME on the car.

Feedback:

Started again with Autel added a new key again and everything worked. Just connected the Autel downgraded again and added key once I cleared the ELV the error went and everything worked. Autel for the Win!

Can Lonsdor K518ISE Program Toyota 2022 Smart Key?

 Will Lonsdor K518ISE program Toyota 2022 smart keys, i.e Land cruiser 2022 add key and all keys lost? If yes, what key to use?  original key, aftermarket key or must be Lonsdor key?

 

Here’s the clue:

Check the P04 page of the smart key, if P4 ends with BABA or 3939, Lonsdor cannot do all keys lost, only add key.

If P04 page is not BABA or 3939, Londsor will do both add key and all keys lost.

All keys lost requires ADP adapter and LKE emulator.  Generate LKE emulator and add key. You can use either OEM, aftermarket or Lonsdor keys as well as key board is correct.

 What’s the difference between Lonsdor P series, H series and PH series Toyota/Lexus 8A H smart keys?

Lonsdor K518ISE Failed to Add Key Passat 2009 Solution

 uestion: How to do immo with the remote control for vw passat b6 2009 white counter?. I tried immo4 NEC 24c64 on Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer but it doesn’t work. I can’t program remote, shows a general error

Solution:

Passat doesn’t have immo in the meter
no B6/B7/CC. Immo is in comfort.
Need to remove ccm and read eeprom. Generate dealer key then program to vehicle. Program remote separate unless have working key easier to clone key and program remote

Lonsdor K518ISE Kprog2 Pinout

 Question: I am trying to read JLR all key lost 2018+ with Lonsdor K518ISE, this kprog2 adapter pinouts looks different from machine instructions, if there is any additional plus or cables need to purchase

see label don’t match the pinouts.

Solution:

Follow the wiring diagram in the instructions to connect. Don’t care about the text on kprog2 adapter.

then connect Dupont line to KPROG2, the other end to FS-01 board.

Lonsdor 2019 Range Rover Keyless Entry Not Working Solution

 After a generate 2019 Range Rover key with Lonsdor K518ISE and JLR smart key, write the key lock unlock works.

But you have to be close to the steering to start which is keyless entry won’t work
And this car has no issues all good he just lost the key.

Solution:

This model UWB ((Ultra Wide Band)) function is enabled. All current Land Rover models employ ‘Ultra Wideband’ (UWB) technology within the vehicle’s Smart Keys. This is normal if keylessgo not working.

Go to Lonsdor Modify vehicle config function.

Disable UWB function.

Then check if the key is working properly.
