What Cable for Lonsdor Toyota 8A BA IMMO Type?

Lonsdor K518 latest Toyota 8A-BA chip type upgrade requires to use the FP30 (30-PIN) cable.

What happens if you don’t have this cable? What cable can be used to replace the FP30 cable?

1. Lonsdor JLR Connector

The cable is used to disable the active alarm for 2018+ JLR all keys lost programming.

Lonsdor engineer confirmed this cable is also compatible with Toyota new TMLF19T immo box.

2. Lonsdor JCD-1 JCD-2 Programming Cable

The cable set is used on Chrysler Jeep Dodge 2018+ with SGW gateway. When programming the smart key for 2018+ Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles, the connection to the vehicle must be made using the Lonsdor OBD cable and the Lonsdor JCD Chrysler 2018+ star connector cable, which connects to the Jeep Star connector (Chrysler CAN-C connector) located at different locations in the vehicle depending on the vehicle model.

But some users also use this cable on newer Toyota immo box, i.e 2022-2023 Land Cruiser.

Pinout is the same as above.

FYI:

OBDSTAR also released a 30-PIN cable for Toyota BABA immo type. But did no test with Lonsdor devices. Free to test by your side.

JLR-IMMO is gonna to add a smart key

This function is used to program new keys and will not affect currently programmed keys.

Ignition may turn on automatically.

Please place all keys available in the shifter surround or in the glass holder

Communicating…read out VIN code…communicating…read out SV: FK72-14C104-AF…communicating…

This function can be used to program new keys…please take out the other key outside the car

JLR-IMMO is gonna to program a new key.

Please prepare a key to be programmed, press OK and press a button on the JLR-IMMO tool, and press the unlock button on the remote once in 5 seconds

Press the unlock button till the car reacts to it and press the unlock button of the smart card once in 5 seconds…press the unlock button

Land Rover (2015-) key programming is done with JLR-IMMO key tool.

How to Unbind Lonsdor JLR-IMMO Key Programmer

Lonsdor Dealer Service Center- instructions for unbinding Lonsdor JLR-IMMO Jaguar Land rover key programming device

Part 1: registration and login

Account password: created by marketing and sales staff when add dealers’ info. to IM backend system.

Dealer can input correct email address and password to login:

Enter main interface successful, your present products shows here (see below pic).

Part 2: select product

After select Lonsdor JLR-IMMO product, it skips to below interface:

Part 3: obtain unbind code

Check device PSN, which will shown on the back of device, or on the homepage; You can also enter menu【Device Information】to check it. The three PSNs are the same one.

Input the PSN to input box in above pic, click【submit】to obtain unbind code.

Part 4: unbind device

Reboot your device, and enter language selection interface (see below pic).

Press UP and DOWN (①) buttons on device at the same time, then press LEFT and Right buttons at the same time (see below pic).

The screen skips to “unbind code” interface, please input the unbind code obtained from dealer’s service center website (refer to below pic）.

Press the device’s button A(Enter) to confirm.

Continue to press button A(Enter), enter unbinding instruction interface (refer to below pic).

Stay in this interface, and do not press A(Enter) for the time being. After finish the following operation steps, you can press A then.

Part 5 : unbind server data

(Following part 3)

After obtain unbind code, there is a registration code input box. According to prompt messages, please input here the registration code shown on the device’s interface (refer to the end of part 4).
