How to Solve Lonsdor K518 Fault 31?

 Problem:

Lonsdor K518 Pro came up with fault fault31. How to fix it?

Solution:

Fault 31 indicates there is a fatal problem with k518. Need to send back for factory repair.

 Problem:

I bought a second-hand Lonsdor K518 tool. I tried to register device. After inputting the user name and verification code. K518 said “User password input error 5007”

Solution:

Visit http://u.lonsdor.com/auth/login?lang=en

Hit Forgot password to retrieve password.

Then choose Registered user device activation to activate device again.

How to Solve Current Key is Not Lonsdor Dedicated JLR Key

 Problem:

Lonsdor special JLR key not being recognized as a lonsdor key, Any solution for this? This is the new version of the JLR key currently being sold.

Solution:

Update Lonsdor K518 machine to latest version.

Remove key shell and then put the key into K518 key slot to read key information again.

Will Lonsdor K518 Program Range Rover Vogue 2020 All Keys Lost?

 Will Lonsdor K518ISE program 2020 Range Rover Vogue K8D2 RFA all keys lost?

 

Read RFA information, check if RFA is locked or not.

If RFA is locked, you have to replace RFA. If replace RFA successfully you can program all keys lost. Need luck.

If RFA is not locked, Try this menu, without replacing RFA chip. Function must have JLR AKL license activated and use Lonsdor new JLR key.

Menu path: Immo & Remote-LAND ROVER-Select from vehicle-Land Rover(2018-)-Smart key->Replace RFA (Beta) (skip program RFA procedure, direct program key).

We cannot guarantee it works 100%.

JLR pluto works key programming to the new landrover and jaguar up 2023.

Lonsdor K518 P0020B Failed to Obtain Key Data Solution

 Problem: I had a problem with Lonsdor K518ISE and P0020B smart key pcb. It failed to obtain key data. Seems it is not a collectable type. Any solution?

 

Solution:

P0020B smart key pcb can only be used to transfer but no collect key data.

To collect key data you need H0440C, H0410C or PH0440B smart keys.

Can Lonsdor K518ISE Program Toyota 2022 Smart Key?

 Will Lonsdor K518ISE program Toyota 2022 smart keys, i.e Land cruiser 2022 add key and all keys lost? If yes, what key to use?  original key, aftermarket key or must be Lonsdor key?

 

Here’s the clue:

Check the P04 page of the smart key, if P4 ends with BABA or 3939, Lonsdor cannot do all keys lost, only add key.

If P04 page is not BABA or 3939, Londsor will do both add key and all keys lost.

All keys lost requires ADP adapter and LKE emulator.  Generate LKE emulator and add key. You can use either OEM, aftermarket or Lonsdor keys as well as key board is correct.

 As titled, here are easy steps to upload log data to Lonsdor K518ISE so their engineer could analyze your problem.

Step 1: after the k518 machine is turned on, let the machine connect to the network. If the machine is already connected, directly carry out step 2.

 

Step 2: press and hold the set key and return key in the red box in the figure below for several seconds.

Step 3: after the following interface appears, click the “get system log” button in the red box.
