Procedure:

Connect Lonsdor K518 with vehicle via OBD socket

Select Immobilizer->Toyota->Select from Type->All smart key lost->All key lost->Backup EEPROM

This function can back up car eeprom data
When backup complete, go to Make emulator key in network environment to make a spare original

Use the spare original key to add key

Reading car data, wait for 3 minutes or so

Save eeprom data

Backup eeprom data completed.

Go to Make emulator key function.

This function can make a spare master key when all keys lost. The key can replace the original master key to turn on the dashboard and add key.

Select eeprom data saved above

Lonsdor K518ise detects current eeprom information

The number of keys: 2

Key type: 94

Place the emulator key (black) into K518 card slot, press the round button

Programming key, please wait about 5 minutes

Key generation completed.

Check the emulator key round button, and close it to the ignition. Try to turn on the dashboard, if the dash can be turned on normally, use the emulator key instead of the original key to add/program new key.

Tango & Lonsdor 518ISE Program Toyota Avalon 2014 All Keys Lost

Test report:  I’ve successfully programmed TMS37200 smart key on a Toyota Avalon 2014 Middle East model under all keys lost situation via OBD.

Main Procedure:

Step 1: Backup EEPROM with Lonsdor K518ISE

Step 2: Write key with Tango & SLK-03 emulator

Step 3: Add/register smart key with Lonsdor K518

(If you don’t have Tango, you can program smart key with K518 and Lonsdor SKE-IT Smart Key Emulator as well)

How to:

Step 1: Backup EERPOM

in Lonsdor k518, Select Immobilizer->Toyota->China->Select from type->All smart key lost->All key lost->Backup EEPROM

Save eeprom to bin file, i.e AVL9.bin

EEPROM data backup success

Open K518 internal storage folder, copy and paste AVL9.bin to desktop

Step 2: Write key

Connect Tango transponder key programmer with laptop

Open Tango software, select car make and model

Upload eeprom data read by k518 from desktop

Detect transponder information, 4 keys programmed

Insert a SLK-03 emulator key into Tango, press Write Key

Select SLK-03 transponder

Writing key

Put the emulator key close to vehicle Start button

Write key success

Step 3: Add smart key

In Lonsdor K518 Toyota all smart keys lost menu, select Add Smart Key

Put an emulator key or working key close to the ignition switch, turn it ON until the dashboard turns on

Lonsdor detects 4 keys have registered.

Put the key to be registered near to Start button, when buzz rings twice, remove the key within 30 sec

Operation completed.

The emulator key now can start vehicle.

Done.

1) Binding 
1.Go to the “Bind emulator key” function;
2.Turn on emulator key and put it into K518ISE key slot (put the status indicator down, make sure the key is active);
3.Following the system direction and click “OK” to start binding;
4.After binding completed, the system will indicate “Binding successful”.

Connect K518ISE with car OBD port, enter into “Backup immodata” to back up the data.

After choosing the immo data, in a network environment, the system will indicate to choose the corresponding SKE emulator key model, please start the key and put it into K518ISE key slot(make sure the key is activate), follow the instruction to make an emulator key.

4)  Add smart key
Click the car start button, put the generated SKE emulator key close to the start button, with induction the car will automatically activated.
The system will read current key count, then follow the instruction to add key.

Precaution
1. “Bind emulator key” can identify the SKE emulator key binding state;
2. SKE emulator key need to bind K518ISE host and can bind only for one time;
3. When making emulator key, make sure well net connection and to choose the corresponding SKE emulator key model correctly.

Functions

Operational process for all key lost

Please confirm whether emulator key (SKE) is bound to K518 device beforehand.

Backup EEPROM data-> Generate new data-> Dismantle immo box and write

new data to EEPROM-> Generate SKE-> Add/delete smart key

1. Backup original EEPROM immo data.
2. Use backup data to generate new data.
3. System certify and generate new data automatically, and program SKE to

become an available key,which can open dashboard.,before key programming.

4. Add a smart key.
5. Delete programmed key.
6. Bind SKE: Require to bind all SKE to K518 for the first use.

Operation

Operational process for all key lost

Please confirm whether K518 is bound to emulator key (SKE).

1. Backup EEPROM data–> 2. Generate emulator key (SKE)–> 3. Use SKE to

switch ignition ON–> 4. Add smart key

2. Generate a SKE for emergency use.

Insert SKE to switch ignition ON and open dashboard.

2. Receiving vehicle immo data… Please wait patiently.
3. Please name EEPROM backup data.
4. Data backup succeed.Please select “generate emulator key”function to generate a spare key for emergency.

Generate emulator key

1. This function can generate a spare master key when all keys are lost, which can

open dashboard to add other keys.

2. Receiving local backup data…
3. System shows current data and notify key type.
4. Insert bound emulator key (corresponding color/type) into K518 host slot, and press

round button on the key.

5. Generating SKE … Please wait for 5 minutes patiently.
6. When SKE is generated,press round button on it and put it against start button of

vehicle, and try to open dashboard.If the dashboard is lit up, please use SKE to

program and add new keys.

Add smart key

1. Put SKE or available key against ignition switch and switch ignition ON till

dashboard is lit up.

2. System communication, getting info about key numbers…
3. Put registered smart key against vehicle start button, and remove it when

buzzer beeps once.

4. Put smart key (to be registered) at start button of vehicle in 30 seconds, and

remove it when buzzer beeps twice.

5. Please wait till key registration complete. Operation succeed.

Delete smart key

1. Put emulator key or available key close to ignition switch and switch ignition ON till

dashboard is lit up.

2. System communication, getting info about key numbers…
3. Put back of registered smart key close to vehicle start button, and remove it

when buzzer beeps once.

4. System is deleting key… Deleting succeed. Smart key (away from start button) will be deleted.

Bind emulator key: Require to power on the device when put emulator key into K518 host slot.

2. System will read backup data of vehicle to generate emulator key and prompt

to choose corresponding key type(refer to back of the emulator).

4.For Carola/Vios/Zelas all key lost, programming is not available in a state of alarm.
