Lonsdor ADP Adapter vs Toyota 30 PIN Cable

 Is this Lonsdor Toyota bypass cable the same as the ADP adapter, or which one is better? both are necessary for Toyota key programming?

 

Lonsdor ADP adapter is for 2016-2022 Toyota smart key programming (ADP cannot do BABA type immo).

With the ADP adapter you don’t need Toyota AKL license.

Lonsdor Toyota FP-30 pin cable is different from ADP adapter.

To use 30 pin cable, you need to have Toyota AKL license activated.

The 30 pin cable is for 8A-BA and 4A-BA key programming bypass pin code.

Connect ADP adapter with vehicle immo box and K518 device follow the wiring diagram

Immo & Remote->Toyota-> Select from type-> All smart keys lost (2016-)->8A

Step 1: Backup immo data
Select Backup immo data
Save Immo data

Step 2: Generate LKE
Select Generate LKE function
The function requires network connection
Put LKE emulator into K518 induction coil
Upload immo data read in step 1
Generate LKE emulator successfully

Step 3: Add smart key
Select Add smart key
Put emulator key into the induction coil
Put new key into k518
Program new key successfully.

Can Lonsdor K518ISE Program Toyota 2022 Smart Key?

 Will Lonsdor K518ISE program Toyota 2022 smart keys, i.e Land cruiser 2022 add key and all keys lost? If yes, what key to use?  original key, aftermarket key or must be Lonsdor key?

 

Here’s the clue:

Check the P04 page of the smart key, if P4 ends with BABA or 3939, Lonsdor cannot do all keys lost, only add key.

If P04 page is not BABA or 3939, Londsor will do both add key and all keys lost.

All keys lost requires ADP adapter and LKE emulator.  Generate LKE emulator and add key. You can use either OEM, aftermarket or Lonsdor keys as well as key board is correct.

Lonsdor ADP Adapter Cannot Be Used on This Device?

 Problem:

I need help with the Lonsdor ADP adapter. It cannot work after I change another K518ISE key programmer.

Error 

The current Toyota Adapter is bound to another device host. cannot be used on this device.

Solution:

Each ADP adapter is registered/bound with one K518 machine only.

ADP is not allowed to unbind a K518 then bind with another device.

If ADP is broken, needs to send back for repair.

If lost your ADP adapter, need to purchase a new replacement.

Program Toyota RAV4 2021 AKL with Lonsdor K518 ADP Adapter

Here is the guide on programming Toyota RAV4 2021 8A (P1:AA) proximity smart key All Keys Lost without changing PEPS module, just use Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer and Lonsdor ADP Adapter. All keys lost requires LKE emulator as well.

 

Preparation:

Follow k518 instruction to connect ADP adapter with vehicle and connect PIN cable with PEPS module

1.Backup IMMO data

In K518ISE menu, go to Immo & Remote- Toyota- Select from type- All smart key lost (2016-)- 8A

First Backup Immo Data
Detect serial number

Calculating and save data

Backup immo data successfully.

 

2. Generate LKE emulator
Insert LKE emulator into K518ISE

Load backup data to generate an emergency key in AKL situation.
This function requires network connection

Select the backup data
Reconnect car original cable

The emulator can start the car

3. Generate remote

Generate geniune smart remote key 315MHZ 8990H-0R030
Turn ignition off and turn on two emergency lights

Load D-flash data of PEPS to acquire 12-bit PIN

Register key success
follow k518ise prompt to learn key

1). Hold the registered LKE key close to the Start button, the buzzer beeps once, take the key away from the button

2). Hold the smart ley to be registered close to the Star button, the buzzer beeps twice, take the key away from the button.
To program more keys, repeat step 2).

Finally car and remote work successfully. Done.
