Lonsdor K518ISE Program VW Tiguan 2013 NEC 24C64 Remote Key

The task is to make a duplicate key for a 2013 4th generation Immobilizer Volkswagen Tiguan with key chip ID48. The chip key and remote programming is performed by the Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

Procedure:

Step 1: Backup eeprom

Connect K518 host with vehicle via OBD socket

Select Immobilizer->VW->IMMO4->2013 NEC 24C64->Immobilizer->Backup EEPROM

Enter the eeprom name to be saved

Turn on ignition switch

During the procedure, the dashboard will turn black several times, this is normal.

Reading data

Backup success

Step 2: Read IMMO data

Select Read IMMO data

If it is the smart key, turn off ignition then turn it on

If it is remote key: turn on ignition and start vehicle

Here’s the remote key

Lonsdor K518 read vehicle VIN, CS, password, key number etc information

Step 3: Make dealer key

Select Make Dealer Key

Turn on ignition and start engine

Dashboard turns black, it is normal.

Reading key data

Insert the key to be programmed into K518 key slot

Select Make ordinary dealer key

Select key type VW (TP23)

Read key ID

Generate the dealer key and lock key success

Step 4: Learn Key

Select Learn key

Make sure the EEPROM has been backuped before the opearation is performed.
Press YES to continue

Take all keys into the car.
All original keys that are not involved in learning will be deleted.

Turn on ignition and start engine

Dashboard turns black

Enter number of keys to be programmed: 2

Select Key Type

If it is smart key, press OK

It it is remote key, press Cancel. Here we click Cancel to continue

Insert key and turn on ignition switch, after all keys have been replaced, click OK to finish key learning.

Switch ignition off then turn it on

Program complete.

Both keys can start vehicle

Step 5: Program remote

Go back to VW menu, Select VW->Remote->Program Remote->Delete Remote

Delete remote success

Select Add remote

Press Unlock button for 2 sec within 15 sec

Add remote success.

Lonsdor K518ISE Program Remote Key for Kia Ceed 2015

The task is to duplicate a key for the Kia Ceed year 2015 with the key ID60 chip (80 bits), the chip and remote control programming is performed by the Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

Step 1: Read Pin Code

First you need to read Pin code before programming. Try to calculate pin code with Hyundai/Kia pin code calculatorUSB dongle. This pin code calculator will pull out pin code for Hyundai/Kia from year 1996 to 2016.

Lonsdor is not able to read Kia Pin code ID60.

(K518 will read Hyundai/Kia pin code 46/8A/47, check example here .)

Step 2: Program Chip Key

Connect Lonsdor K518ise with vehicle via OBD socket

Select Immobilizer->Kia-> Select from type->Immobilizer

If you don’t know which type to choose from, try one by one. If you selected the wrong type, it will not read key number or give communication failure error.

Until I selected Type5 (K-line) and turn on ignition, K518 can identify key numbers

Then select Program key

Lonsdor K518 asks to enter 6-digit pin code to access

Insert key and turn on ignition

Program complete. press Yes to program next key

Replace new key and turn on ignition

Remove key and wait for 5 sec, program complete.

Both keys can start car.

Step 3: Program remote with Lonsdor K518ISE

Select Kia->Select from type-> Remote System ->16 PIN-> select remote type-> Program remote

Turn on ignition

Again if you don’t know which remote type to choose, try them one by one. If select wrong remote type, it will display “connection failed” or “vehicle no respond” error.

Here I selected Remote Type 1 (K), it worked.

Up to 4 remotes can be programmed.

Insert first key, turn on ignition, then turn ignition off and remove key

Press LOCK of UNLOCK button for more than 1 sec

Program 1st remote complete. Program next one.

Program 2 remotes successfully

Test the remote control.

Done.

Program Ford Fiesta 2017 4D ID63 Key with Lonsdor K518ISE

The task is to program a new chip for auto start on a Ford Fiesta car year 2017. We program 4D ID63 chip (80 bit), ID83 with Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

Step 1: Identify chip type 

Select Special function->Chip auto ID->Chip auto ID->Chip recognition

Insert key/chip into K518 key slot

Lonsdor k518 identified key chip type: 4D chip 63 (80 bit)

Step 2: Add key 

Connect Lonsdor K518 host with vehicle via OBD socket

Select Ford->Fiesta->IMMO->2013 up->Immobilizer->Turn on ignition->Add key

If all keys lost, need to register 2 keys to start vehicle

Insert new key and turn on ignition

Identify key number: 4

Reading pin automatically

key programmed successfully

Program complete

Start car with the new key.

Done.
