Lonsdor K518ISE Program Renault Megane 2008 PCF7947 Key

How to Program a new smart key to a Renault Megane 2008 car using Chinese 3-button key with a PCF7947 chip with a Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

Connect K518 host with vehicle via OBD socket

Turn on ignition

Select Immobilizer->Renault->Select from vehicle-> Megane->2002-2008 VIN with VF1*M-> Smart key

Turn on the emergency light and switch ignition off

Press Start button and click OK to continue

Open Driver door

Select VIN type, if don’t know which type it belongs to, try it one by one

First try 1st option, it gave the login failed error.

So we try second VIN type option

Turn on the emergency light and switch ignition off

Press Start button and click OK to continue

Open Driver door

Insert a smart key to be programmed into card slot

Programming completed

Press YES to program next key or NO to exit

Lonsdor K518 Learning key success

The new key can start car and the remote control works as well.

Lonsdor K518ISE Program Remote Key to SsangYong Kyron 2014

How to program remote key on a SsangYong Kyron 2014 using Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

Step 1: Program key

Connect K518 host with vehicle via OBD

Select Immobilizer->SsangYong->Select from Type->Immobilizer->Type 2->Program key

     

(If don’t know which type to choose, try one by one. When select Type 1, it gave communication failed error. Type2 works)

Turn ignition switch to ON position with original key

Program complete. Program next key

Replace new key and turn on ignition

Program 2nd key success

Both keys can start car

Step 2: Program remote with Lonsdor k518

Select SsangYong->Select from Type->Remote->Type 1->Program remote

Turn ignition off and remove key

Press and hold unlock/panic button of the remote for 2 secs, then release it

Program remote success

Remote control works!

Lonsdor K518ISE Program Peugeot 407 2007 Remote Key

How to program Peugeot 407 year 2007 remote key including pin code reading using Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

Step 1: Read Pin Code

Select Peugeot->Read Pin Code->Type 2

During the function operation, the windshield wiper brushes and the headlight illuminates which is normal
To stop wiper brush, check Help and pull out the corresponding fuse.

Turn ignition switch to ON position

Lonsdor K518 read vehicle information

Reading data and verifying pin

Read pin code success

Step 2: Program key

Select Peugeot->Select from vehicle->407->Immobilizer->Program key

Turn on ignition

Lonsdor K518ISE will require to enter pin to access

Turn ignition off and then turn on within 15 seconds

Program complete.

Press YES to program next key or Cancel to quit.

Step 3: Program remote control 

Step to reprogram remote control:
1.Switch ignition off and remove key
2. Insert a key and switch ignition on
3. Press any button of the remote key for 10 seconds and release within 20 seconds.
4. Switch ignition off and remove key
5. For more keys, repeat step 2-4

Lonsdor K518ISE Program Toyota Auris 2009 Chip Key

Here’s the guide to make a chip key on the Toyota Auris 2009 with 4D70 chip using Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

Original key

Procedure:

Select Special Function->Chip auto-ID->Chip auto-ID->Chip recognition

Insert original key into K518 host key slot

Identifying chip

Lonsdor K518 detects the chip type: 4D70 Toyota/Lexus

Select Generate key chip function->4D chip->Europe Toyota chip 70

Put the normal 70 chip to the Lonsdor host slot.

But K518 failed me !!!

So this time I try to program key from IMMO menu.

Select Immobilizer function->Toyota->Select from Type->IMMO->Type 2(4D 67/68)->Add key

(Because there is no Auris vehicle option, so I enter from type)

A master key is required before deleting or adding other keys.

How to identify a key is a master or a valet key?

Insert key into ignition switch, if security light does not flash, that is a master key. If security light goes on for 1 sec and then off, that is a valet key.

This is a master key.  Insert the original key and turn on ignition

Communication processing

Switch ignition off and remove key within 20 sec

Insert new key within 10 sec and keep engine off

Programming in progress

Program complete

Test the new key

Done.
