Note: K518ise also works for BMW Motorcycle GS RT K key programming

In Lonsdor K518ise:

Select Immobilizer – special functions – identify/copy chips – recognition & copy – recognition & copy

Put the chip to be identified into K518 host slot and then K518 starts to recognize the key

K518 identified the key: 46 PCF7936(JITAG2) chip

Switch ignition on with the key and check the connection of the key and the motorcycle

In Lonsdor K518ise:

Select Immobilizer – BMW – select from type – motor – add key

Lonsdor K518 is gonna to add a new key to the BMW

This process can add a car key

Select key 4, 7936 transponder

Drag the k518 flap to the right and tie the key you want to program

The current key is legal

ID: 0F 81 36 11

Generating can be wicked [ok] to continue

Insert the generated key into the car slot for 5 seconds

Saving into keys made

Test the key done by Lonsdor: worked!

Possible to OBD read PIN from PSA BSI units? VVDI2 or Lonsdor K518ise?

Possible to read PIN code from BSI in an old PSA? Xhorse VVDI2 can do that or what else?

It depends on the ECU type rather than the BSI …you can investigate more but it must be extracted from the ECU

PSA you can not extract pincodes if they are manufactured before December 2006.
and you can only extract in kline system

Vvdi2 can’t read pin code from old Peugeot and Citroen.

It can read just from CAN BUS system

And not reading the pin for all keys lost…Only add key

VVDI2 failed to read PIN from a Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.8i (engine code 6fz), the build year September 2004.

VVDI2 doesn’t detect ignition off for 5 seconds or ignition off with key out for more than 10 seconds (trieds several ways). Counter stays on “1 of 6” and finally times out.

So, Don’t think it has can in the obd on the old Peugeot or Citroen, you would have to connect can hi and can lo direct to the ECU

You can read ECU pin by obd, and all BSI units by pinout

-> I have extracted pin from over 20 cars, all fine. Not necessary to connect charger to car as it doesn’t put Bsi in service mode like psa bsi tool, or avdi where windscreen wipers would activate etc. On average 5 to 8 minutes, although a 508 and a 2008 I did it found code almost instantaneously.

2004 C4 / this car is not CAN ! CAN protocol is after 2008 on PSA car , some user say NO HE CAN’T , but yes we can !

I’m sure full chip PCB F108+ with last update can retrieve all PIN code , it’s the same BSI for PSA ( Siemens , Valeo & J-C ) .

And if it’s not FULL CHIP tool F108+ , CONNECTION BREAK DOWN , k-line is not operational .

Citroen C3 2014, CE0523 FSK, get pin also one time OFF/ON.

So it is very fast for PSA newer car 2017.
