Lonsdor K518ISE Free Menus and Subscribed Menus

Lonsdor K518ISE Menus are divided into two parts: free menus and subscribed menus.

1.Free menus are free for lifetime.
2. Subscribed menus can be used for free for 90 days. You need to pay for them after the trial period. After the trial period, subscribed menus will not work properly if you don’t pay. And the menus will disappear after updating the device.
A. 365 days is a period and the price is USD600 per period. One year period starts from the day of the trial period finished.
B. Purchase subscription from us. You can use the menus normally and permanently after payment.
C. Menus which you purchase includes subscribed menus that have been released and that will have been released in one year period.
D. Subscribed menus beyond one year period requires extra payment.

How to Test Lonsdor K518ISE Voltage?

When Lonsdor K518ise gives you error message “Cuommunication failure, code :3A1” and you have connected main cable well and selected correct system, you can check the device voltage to see if the battery power is low or not using a digital multimeter.

How to test the voltage of Lonsdor K518?

Procedure:
power off the k518 and plug in the original power cable
Turn the multimeter to 20v
use the red electroprobe to touch the metal part of the k518

use the black electroprobe to test the voltage of the cable’s needles one by one.

Lonsdor K518ISE Adds Smart Key to Ford Fusion 2017

Ford Fusion 2017 smart key successfully programmed by Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer under New Mondeo menu. 

Original key (Put original key into cup holder)

New smart key 315MHz

Connect K518 with vehicle via OBD socket

Select Immobilizer->Ford->China->New Mondeo->2017->Smart Key->Add smart key

Turn ignition switch to ON position

Lonsdor K518 reads vehicle info. VIN, key number

Put a new smart key into slot (cup holder) and press Start button

Programming in progress

Identify new key programmed

Program completed.

Test the new key.

How to Solve Lonsdor K518 Update Failed by Flashing firmware?

Problem:

I was trying to update Lonsdor K518ISE, it stops at 31% and give me error “Update failed , APK Version : V1.5.17”

Solution:

Flash the firmware following steps below:

1.Download and unzip the attached file, you will get 2 files (contact obdii365.com for download link)

2.Install and then open the app 

3. Use a USB cable to connect your Lonsdor K518ISE to a computer.
4. ① Click the button in red first.
② Click the button in black next.

③ Find the file  and click it (marked in red, step 1).

④ Then click the button marked in black (step 2).

5. Hold on the power key and you will see interface below. Click the
button marked in red. And immediately hold on the volume+ key until
you see a progress bar in the computer.

6. Two windows will pop up, just click YES.
7. Update firmware successfully. Pull out the USB cable and wait the device to automatically repair.
8. Don’t touch the device. You will see a white screen and there are two buttons (set up WIFI and update).
9. Set up WIFI and then update. The problem will be solved after updating.

If you have “Run App failed, unknown error” , try to flash APK.

Lonsdor K518ISE Program Toyota RAV4 2008 All Smart Keys Lost

Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer another passed model: Toyota RAV4 2008 Smart key programming success- no working key, SKE-LT-DST40(94/D4) -94/D4 smart key emulator is required.

Procedure:

Connect Lonsdor K518 with vehicle via OBD socket

Select Immobilizer->Toyota->Select from Type->All smart key lost->All key lost->Backup EEPROM

This function can back up car eeprom data
When backup complete, go to Make emulator key in network environment to make a spare original

Use the spare original key to add key

Reading car data, wait for 3 minutes or so

Save eeprom data

Backup eeprom data completed.

Go to Make emulator key function.

This function can make a spare master key when all keys lost. The key can replace the original master key to turn on the dashboard and add key.

Select eeprom data saved above

Lonsdor K518ise detects current eeprom information

The number of keys: 2

Key type: 94

Place the emulator key (black) into K518 card slot, press the round button

Programming key, please wait about 5 minutes

Key generation completed.

Check the emulator key round button, and close it to the ignition. Try to turn on the dashboard, if the dash can be turned on normally, use the emulator key instead of the original key to add/program new key.

Lonsdor K518ISE Adds Fiat Freemont Smart Key Success

I’ve successfully read pin code and add a smart key to a Fiat Freemont with Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

(Note: The model is under 90 days free trail. You need to subscribe to use after 3 month.)

Connect K518 host with vehicle via obd socket

Turn ignition to ON position

Select Immobilizer->Fiat->China->Freemont->Smart key->Read Pin Code

Turn ignition off and turn on emergency indicator

Read 4-digit pin code success.

Select Add Smart Key

Turn ignition off and turn on emergency indicator

Keep the smart key need to be registered in car, take other keys outside the car

Lonsdor K518 will auto fill in pin code read previously

Press LOCK or UNLOCK button once

Put the key on the Start button and press UNLOCK button once within 30 seconds.

Programming completed

Test the smart key.

It is working.
