Lonsdor KH100+ Asks for 6-digit Password?

 Problem:

Lonsdor KH100+ I scanned qr with my cellphone it showed me successful but when try to put it on the tool shows error 6030.
Password was 18 digit but tool is asking for 6 digit

Already have an account in my email then asks me for a 6digit password but with the QR in cellphone it gives error 6030.

Solution:

6-digit password is the password when you register the device.

If forget password, you can retrieve password.

Hit Forgot password.

Enter email address that you combine with the KH100+ device. Then reset password.

How to program Volvo V40 2012-2018 with K518 Pro via OBD?

Menu path: Immo & Remote-> Volvo -> V40-> 2012-2018->Smart key

Select Add key
Select Read security data via OBD
Read security data successfully

Press Start/Stop button

Programming 1st key.

Insert new key to be programmed. 

Follow K518 pro prompt to program key until finished.

Yesterday tried on Volvo s60 AKL there is option by OBD but must wait few hours like on other tools.

the menu on V40 is different than S60 so maybe not all models are supported by OBD?

V40 is unique in that it allows near instant password reading, all other models require hours(1-6 for slot, 12-16 for keyless) for the brute force attack.

If you want a fast solution pull CEM and/or KVM if equipped and read both for the password(s). Personally I offer the customer two solutions, keys right now at a higher cost, or I put the dongle in the car and come back tomorrow at a lower cost.

 I always do it on bench its 45 minutes job.

Program Toyota Corolla 2022- 4A All Keys Lost by Lonsdor K518 Pro via OBD

 How to read Toyota Corolla Sport Hybrid 2022- 4A smart key IMMO Data using Lonsdor K518 Pro key programmer and FP30 cable. Then you can generate emulator key and add key.

This is a Japanese model, find PEPS box under the instrument cluster on the driver side.

Connect FP30 30PIN cable with immo box. Connect the other end with OBD cable of K518 Pro.

 

Back up immo data.

Make sure you have FP30 cable connected to the PEPS case.

Put the Pro antenna cable into card slot. The Pro Antenna cable can be used to replace the LKE emulator. This function requires network connection.

Turn on ignition, if fails, turn on the emergency indicators.

Input 17-digit VIN to access.

Calculating immo data

Input file name to save data.

Back up immo data successfully. This file can be used to add key/delete key/generate emergency key (AKL).

After backup is completed, disconnect FP30 cable, roll back the installation of PEPS case, connect well all connectors and plugs.

Then select

Generate emergency key (Pro Antenna)

Connect simu-antenna and place the antenna’s top in the card slot.

Select immo data file just saved.

Generate emergency key successfully.

Perform the following steps:

1. Step on car brake once, and press the ignition switch once.
2.Quickly place simu-antenna vertically on ignition switch, keep the simu-antenna top aimed at the central position of the igntion switch and wait till the dashboard turns on

3 if dashboard fails to light up after 3s, repeat step 1 and 2
4. if dashboard fails to light up after multiple attempts, contact after-sales for technical support.

Then select Add smart key function and follow K518 Pro prompts to finish programming.

How to Solve Lonsdor K518 Pro Damage Detected?

 If Lonsdor K518 Pro fails to communicate with vehicle and says error damage detected or OBD cable not detected, you can do a OBD self-test as following.

Lonsdor K518 Pro OBD Self-Test Guide

Purpose: to test if OBD cable or the hardware is faulty.

 

Procedure:

Go to OBDII function->OBDII upgrade->OBDII upgrade

This function can update OBDII program.
Before operation insert OBD cable into K518 Pro. Do not connect the other end of OBDII cable to any device.

It detects OBDII info.

OBD upgrade operation successful.

If it says OBD cable was not detected during the self-test, the OBD cable is broken. Contact your dealer to send you a replacement cable or buy an OBD II cable for K518 Pro.

You can do a hardware self-test to check if hardware is working or not.

Select OBDII Hardware self-check.

This function need to connect the device to 12V power and make sure the device is well connected with OBD cable.
Just connect OBD cable to device, no need to connect it to vehicle OBD port.

Lonsdor K518 Pro OBD self-test completed and the hardware function is normal.

If OBD self-test says hardware function is not working, then there is something wrong with your hardware.
