Adding a spare smart key to Fiat Talento 2021. Which device is better Lonsdor K518 Pro or SmartPro.
Lonsdor K518 pro comes up with this when attempting to read pin. It takes 1 hour to access. While Smartpro takes a few minutes.
Why SmartPro is so fast?
It is not bypass the pin code. It actually makes UCH virgin and while in that state, it read PIN And then re-learn UCH with original working key.
It virginize UCH which allows then to read PIN without long procedure to read / write flash data. That’s how ‘Quick method’ works in Smart Pro.
It’s same method as Renault ECU Tool works with 2016+ Clio 4 / Captur.
For example:
Add Talento 2021 key with Smart pro using Xhorse XS MQB remote.
Need power supply support.
Which tool to use?
Of course Trafic / Talento is different system than Clio IV but you can also use 2 methods of doing that. Long method read and write flash and same Quick method like ECU Tool and SmartPro does.
For Trafic / Talento, the long method Read/Write flash is safer than the fast Smart Pro method because you have backup.
If somehow the tool will not read PIN code in UCH / HFM virgin state, then you have bricked car which needs online reprogramming.
If you use long method, you have backup. Lonsdor has 2016- Talento menu, for 2021 model, it needs luck.
SmartPro also has long method. Always have battery maintenance. It’s very important. It is risky on those.
