How to Solve Lonsdor K518 Xdntest has Stopped Error?

 Problem:

My Lonsdor K518 Pro stopped working and reported an error “Xdntest has Stopped”. How to fix it?

Solution:

Long press these 2 buttons.

That brings you this interface.

Uninstall apk- Oldest APK.

Then restart device again.

How to Use Lonsdor K518 Pro with SVG149 Cable?

 Here is an example of how to use the Lonsdor K518 with the SPVG SVG149 NEC Dash Cable for a VAG VDO cluster with all keys lost.

 

Cluster type example: VDO NEC24C64

The SVG149 cable is designed to work for the ALL KEYS LOST solution on VAG instrument clusters with the NEC microprocessor. The SVG-149 cable allows you to plug your Supervag directly into the back of the VDO VDD cluster.

Main steps:

• Back up eeprom
• Read Immo data
• Make dealer key
• Directly add key

 

Procedure:

If you use Lonsdor, there is no follow-up procedure in it’s software.

1. Back up EEPROM

Select Immobilizer-VW-IMMO4-Select IMMO manually- NEC+24C64- Immobilizer.

Back up EEPROM.

Connect SVG149 cable and pogo pin with cluster.

Detect cluster number.

Reading eeprom data.
Back up eeprom successfully.

2. Read IMMO Data

Select Read IMMO data and follow prompts.

Read immo data (VIN, CS, password, key ID, key numbers) successfully.

3. Make dealer key

Select Make Dealer Key.
Place the key to be programmed in the key slot.

Make an ordinary dealer key.
Select brand: Seat TP22

Read current key ID.

Generate dealer key and lock key.

4. Add key

Here is a mechanical key, choose Directly add key menu.
If it is smart key, go to Key Learning function instead.
Turn on ignition switch.

Programming key compleye.

Read Immo data with Lonsdor K518 Pro again.
Now you can see a new key has been programmed.

FYI:

The Pogo PIN method can corrupt eeprom checksum on VW Polo, Seat Ibiza and Skoda Fabia so better to avoid use this method on these. Generally speaking of course the best method is to read eeprom and modify it to enter service mode, then you have backup.

Lonsdor K518 Pro ‘Run App Failed 00EE’ Solution

Problem: 

Tried to program Toyota 8A smart key with Lonsdor K518 Pro but the device is not working. It says run app failed: 00EE. The App permission has expired. How to fix it?

Solution:

Sync K518 device and restart again.

Enable network connection.

Go to Settings– Firmware upgrade– hit Regular sync button. 

Then try again.

Lonsdor 2020 Range Rover Sport Keyless Not Working Solution

 Problem:

I got a customer has 2020 range rover sport.
New type key
I believe that that car has lost its keys before and some one did a key for it that start only with emergency and remote working normally( Lonsdor key).
The customer wants to do a key that works normally with keyless functions.
So the only method i got is to do RFA replacement and everything willl works normally?
Here some info got it from lonsdor k518 pro.

Solution:

If its PEPS key (passive entry, passive start) , you have to replace mcu in rfa module. Due to UWB function key clone wont work for keyless start.
Turn uwb off.
And add 2 Lonsdor keys.

Option 1 easy method. If you have autel, try generating a key in autel and hopefully everything works. If not….
Option 2. Replace SPC mcu in RFA. Write back proper calibration. Then add keys via obd.

RFA remplacement or MCU of RFA remplacement if you have soldering good skilks.
You need to replace the mcu and write data then program to car.

Check Lonsdor K518 Pro FCV Software License in Device

 How to check what vehicle software licenses have been activated on the Lonsdor K518 Pro FCV device by yourself?

Go to Device info function.

Check the Paid function and you will see which car software has been activated. These license are lifetime.

Lonsdor K518 Pro Program BMW G series BDC2 Key

 Lonsdor released BMW G series BDC2 and BDC3 key programming function (add key only).

.
Here we will show how to add a smart key to G series BDC02 system.

Model example: 2019 BMW 5 series BDC2

Tools required:

• Londsor K518 Pro/Pro FCV/K518ISE
• Lonsdor BMW G function license activation
• Lonsdor BMW BDC2 adapter and BDC2 adapter cable
• 12V power supply
• Original car key or Londsor BMW G key to be programmed

Procedure:
Step 1:  Read key data
Go to IMMO & Remote- BMW- Select from type- BDC02- Program smart key

Select Read key data.

VIN code has been identified.
Lonsdor says the current SWFL version is supported.

We continue back up coding first.
NOTE: Preprocessing is not required if you only enable ot disable key.

 

Step 2: Back up coding

Select Backup and restore code function- Backup code.
Back up data successfully.

Step 3: Preprocess BDC2

This function requires removing the BDC02 immobilizer module from vehicle.
Then connect the Lonsdor BDC2 interface board with the BDC2 module via Lonsdor BDC2 adapter cable.
Don’t forget to connect 12V power supply to the BDC2 adapter.

Go to Generate Smart Key function- BMW- G chassis.

Generate Lonsdor G key.

Return the main menu, go to BDC02 function-Program Smart Key
Select Preprocess.
The function requires WiFi network connection.
Make sure you have installed the BDC2 adapter correctly.
Preprocessing in progress.
Preprocessing is complete.

It is time to generate new keys.

 

Step 4: Add Smart Key

Select Generate working key function.
Select a blank key position.

Put a working key into the device card slot.

Then take the working key out of the card slot.
Insert the Londsor BMW key we have generated into the device card slot.

Generate new key successfully.

Reinstall the BDC2 module back to vthe ehicle.
Take all other keys outside the car.
Hold the newly generated key close to the induction coil, ensure the new key has battery installed.
Long press the ignition buttion for 20s and test the new keys.

Car starts, remote works.
