 Some users consulted us how to copy Toyota & Lexus 8A or 4D smart keys using Lonsdor KH100+ key copy machine. Here’s the clue. Same procedure with K518 series.

Model example: Toyota Avalon 2016 8A smart key

Compatible keys: Lonsdor FT series, PH0440B or the new LT20 8A/4D 2 in 1 smart key

Identify original key information
It is an 8A Chip 128bit smart key, locked, can be copied.
P4 page is AA AA

Internet is required to copy the smart key

Put original smart key into kh100 induction coil
Take away other keys out of the vehicle

Frequency test, original key is dual frequency 433MHz 434Mhz

Press the button once on the remote.
If decoding failed after pressing the button for 2s, press it once again.
Decode key successfully.

Board version: 0020

Put Lonsdor FT/PH/LT20 smart key into KH100 induction coil

if kh100+ says wifi connection failed.
Search and pair with WiFi

Copy key successfully.

Test the new Lonsdor smart key.

Remote control works, car starts.

Lonsdor K518 Nissan Sentra B18 2021 Key Not Start?

 Problem:

Lonsdor K518ISE Nissan Sentra B18 2021 while adding key procedure in the process of pin code reading ignition was off automatically. Then communication failed. Now ignition cannot be on. Remote also not working. How to solve this. I used the 16+32 gateway cable.

Solution:

The BCM is bricked. No way to fix it. It has to be replaced now.
Visit dealer and be prepared to pay $1900.+
We had the same about 6 months ago
But, we were lucky because, was a salvage car being sold only for parts. Motor and Trans, etc. Nothing electronic at all.
But, when we checked with dealer this is what they said.
Very common problem. The Autel IM608 killed the BCM from 2021 Nissan Sentra, even I used the adapter for new Nissan.

Will Lonsdor K518 Program Range Rover Vogue 2020 All Keys Lost?

 Will Lonsdor K518ISE program 2020 Range Rover Vogue K8D2 RFA all keys lost?

 

Read RFA information, check if RFA is locked or not.

If RFA is locked, you have to replace RFA. If replace RFA successfully you can program all keys lost. Need luck.

If RFA is not locked, Try this menu, without replacing RFA chip. Function must have JLR AKL license activated and use Lonsdor new JLR key.

Menu path: Immo & Remote-LAND ROVER-Select from vehicle-Land Rover(2018-)-Smart key->Replace RFA (Beta) (skip program RFA procedure, direct program key).

We cannot guarantee it works 100%.

JLR pluto works key programming to the new landrover and jaguar up 2023.

How to Fix Lonsdor K-prog2 Adapter Module is Not Bound

 Problem:

I need to read Volvo KVM data with Lonsdor K518ISE K-prog2 programmer. But it days run App failed. Adapter module is not bound. Any solution?

Solution:

You have to combine kprog2 adapter with K518ISE in order to read immo data.

Follow instruction here to bind kprog 2 with k518.

How to connect or bind KProg with Lonsdor K518:

If it’s the first time to use the KProg adapter, you need to bind it with K518ISE.

Connect kprog

Go to the K518ISE home page

Choose “Settings -> Bind adapter”

And follow the direction to finish binding

You have to know:

One K518ISE host can bind up to 5 adapters

And the bound adapter can not be bound to other K518ISE hosts.

Once bound, no need to bind again.

Lonsdor K518ISE Program 2020 Toyota C-HR All Keys Lost

 How-to: program Toyota C-HR 2020 8A smart key all keys lost with Lonsdor K518ISE and Lonsdor FT02-PH0440B smart key.

 

Device used:

Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer

Lonsdor FT02 PH0440B smart key

Lonsdor Toyota AKL license

 

Procedure:

Connect K518 with vehicle via OBD

Go to Special Function->Key Settings->FT Smart Key->8A->Generate smart key

The function requires network connection
Put PH0440B smart key into K518 card slot
key requires battery installed

Select PKE frequency:433MHz

(This is EU model, should select 434MHz frequency but failed to collect data. 433mhz just works fine)

Take all keys outside vehicle, press Start button, hold H0440B smart key closer to the button, wait for 10s until the key’s light flashes, if the light doesn;t flash, press Start button once again.

Reading vehicle data

then put the PH0440B smart key which collected data back to K518 card slot to start key generation

confirm you don’t have a working key

Generate smart key successfully.

Test the new key. It is working. Done.

How to Add Toyota RAV4 2017 Smart Key with Lonsdor K518

 As titled, possible to add Toyota RAV4 Hybrid 2017 smart key with Lonsdor K518ISE?

Yes, there are 2 ways to do it.

 

With ADP adapter, backup immo data and add smart key.
Menu path: Immo & Remote->Toyota->Select type->All smart keys lost (2016-)->8A

Connect ADP adapter, go to menu path: Immo & Remote->Toyota->Select type->All smart keys lost (2016-)->8A

First backup immo data

Then Add smart key.

Then use FT PH0440B smart key, go to Special function->Key settings->FT smart key->8A to generate smart key (need network connection and obtain data from server)

Lonsdor K518 P0020B Failed to Obtain Key Data Solution

 Problem: I had a problem with Lonsdor K518ISE and P0020B smart key pcb. It failed to obtain key data. Seems it is not a collectable type. Any solution?

 

Solution:

P0020B smart key pcb can only be used to transfer but no collect key data.

To collect key data you need H0440C, H0410C or PH0440B smart keys.

Put emulator key into the induction coil
Put new key into k518
Program new key successfully.
