Lonsdor K518 Program VW Passat B5 2004 ID48 Key

Guide to read pin code and program key on a VW Passat B5 2004 year 3th immobilizer by using Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.

Key information:
Original key: 3-button folding remote key
Frequency: 433MHz
Chip type: 48 Chip
Device to program: Lonsdor K518 key programmer

Procedure:
Step 1: Read Pin Code
Connect K518 host with vehicle via OBD diagnostic socket
Turn ignition ON
Select Immobilizer-> VW-> 2th & 3th Immobilizer->Read Pin Code-> Instrument

Lonsdor K518ISE  read ECU version and pin code success

Write download pin code

Step 2: Program key
Select Program key-> Instrument

Lonsdor K518 requires 5-digit pin code to access
Enter pin code and confirm

Enter number of keys to be programmed

select program key from 21 position

Turn ignition off. Insert keys to be programmed one by one and turn ignition on for at least 5 seconds
Press YES when all keys has changed
Note: If remote control working after programming, but cannot start car, and dashboard displays "Immobilizer activated" message, insert key but not start engine, try again after a few minutes.
